1955 Chrysler C-300

In 1955, Chrysler Corporation stormed into the automotive scene with a striking lineup of completely redesigned models. These bold new designs, conceived by the visionary Virgil Exner, were collectively known as “The $100 Million Look.”

This fresh appearance revitalized every Chrysler Corp. car, spanning from the affordable Plymouth to the luxurious Imperial, and placed them in a strong position to compete in the highly competitive auto market of that year. The timing of this overhaul couldn’t have been more perfect.

Among the notable vehicles born from this transformation was the Chrysler C-300, a car that has gained recognition for its achievements on the NASCAR circuit and is often credited as one of the pioneering “Muscle Cars.”
