1955 MG TF 1500 Roadster

Following the TD, the TF made its debut with a transformative redesign featuring a sleek, swept-back radiator grille and more expansive fenders. The headlamps were seamlessly integrated into the inner surface of the front fenders. Under the hood, the TF retained the TD’s foundation, utilizing the same XPAG 1,250cc engine while benefiting from enhancements to the valves and carburetor.

MG’s TF stands as the ultimate iteration of the T-series, tracing its roots back to the 1936 TA. The enduring brilliance of MG’s initial concept, as embodied in the TA, is evident in the prolonged success of the T-series. These cars left an indelible mark in the post-World War II era, serving as the cornerstone for the burgeoning sports car movement in America.
